Frames to the left of the bottom row of photographs show that the crowd has climbed up the two flanks leading to the central podium at which Fidel Castro will speak before the monument to José Martí in the Plaza Cívica of Havana right after his return. In the midst of the same frames and becoming visible in the final frames to the right is Fidel Castro, surrounded by security agents, making his way to the podium.
