Description: Top images show a demonstration by members of Acción Católica, supported by various Catholic priests, at the Parque Central, probably taken in March of 1960, following conflicts between Catholic-led student protests over the visit of Soviet Premier Anastas Mikoyan that February. Bottom four rows of frames show images of the press conference held at the Hotel Nacional de Cuba in Havana with visiting French philosophers Simone de Beauvoir and Jean-Paul Sartre.
