He is pointing to a series of images of the crucifixion on the interior of the cover of his large traveling case; on the inside is what appears to be a statue of a martyr or Christ, hands bound, with two angels kneeling in prayer on either side. Signs in the form of playing cards hang from the eaves of the building.
