"Illustration to Pierce Egan's Life in London, page 341. A 'lounge' in Somerset House; the room is crowded with visitors holding catalogues, inspecting the pictures and each other. The upper pictures, chiefly portraits, are shown in detail, the others are hidden by the crowd. Among the visitors is the Persian Ambassador (see No. 13350), speaking to a fashionably dressed black man.
