A man reclines in a long oval (portable) bath, full to the brim; seemingly of tin, with handles, with a pillow to support the head. One man shaves him, another massages his foot, while a coffee-tray floats on (or stands in) the water. He holds a delicately balanced spoon. A wig, simulating natural hair, stands on a tall wig-block; another stand supports a coat; a dandy's trousers lie on a chair. There is a small dressing-table with shaving materials and stoppered bottles.
