[4] A fashionably dressed doctor holds the pulse of a young woman who sits beside him on a sofa. The husband watches with suspicion. [5] A handsome young clergyman sits on a sofa with a young woman, their arms round each other's shoulders, eyes closed, while a fat elderly parson gapes at them with horror, saying, "Here's a pretty scandal to the Cloth!!"
