Description
A patient is unloaded from a Red Cross ambulance. He is being taken into St. Luke's Hospital in Shanghai. The Chinese men carrying the patient are referred to as "coolies" by the photographer. Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. This photo is from the papers of Elizabeth H. Falck, a member of the American Church Mission (ACM) in Shanghai, China (ca. 1923-1929).
