The docks of Kiukiang [Jiujiang] on the Yangtze river are bustling with traffic. The docks are filled with boats and many people are busy working. A stone wall protects the city from the river's edge.
This photo is from the papers of Dean Goddard, who was an American Baptist missionary in Ningpo, Che-chiang, China from 1870-1903.
