Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. No. 71. The Solution Room. This room is a recent development and in it are prepared all solutions for parenteral administration. Distilled water for intravenous injection is made here and the solutions are all prepared under aseptic conditions. Reactions in intravenous therapy since the opening of this room have become a thing of the past. The room also acts as a service room for stocks of glucose and saline, which are in constant demand for emergencies. A worker in the room is bending down to retrieve something on the bottom shelf. The shelves to the right are filled with bottles of various solutions. To the left a worker is handling large vials of solutions on a table.
