(1) A social worker and two diabetic patients view a day's rations.  Mrs. Chou is a widow, 59 years of age, who has been in hospital with a carbuncle, as has Mr. Chang, across the table.  Both are regular attendants at clinic and fairly co-operative patients. The social worker is standing and explaining how to eat, and on the table are various dishes and plants.
