The back of the postcard is blank and contains a printed title "Cameroun. - Ecoliers de la Mission d'Omvan" ("Schoolboys of the Mission of Omvan") and the name of the mission agency "Editions Peres du Saint-Esprit". The Congregation of the Holy Ghost was a Catholic order that sent missionaries to French colonies in Africa. Two young boys wearing button shirts and hats look down as if reading something not visible in the picture.
