Description: 115. - MADAGASCAR. - Les Religieuses de la Providence en Pirogue. ("The Sisters of Providence in a canoe"). Two men stand in shallow water and steady a canoe from either end. In the canoe are three missionary sisters, two indigenous women holding baskets on their heads, and two indigenous men.

The back of the postcard has a handwritten note in French and contains printed information about the mission agency: "Pour <> - 79, Avenue de Breteuil, Paris XVe. Ch. post. 567 39 Paris"
