Description
17. DAHOMEY - Cove - Groupe familial de la corporation des Artisans en cuivre." ("Family group of the guild of the 'Copper Craftsmen.'") Six men, eight women, and seven children pose in a courtyard beside a thatched roof house. One man and three women are sitting. Some wear white, others wear fabrics of various patterns. Postcard issued by "Missions Africaines, 150, Cours Gambetta, Lyon." Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. The back of the postcard is blank and contains information about the printer: "Phototypie Mce Lescuyer, 16, r. des Remparts-d'Ainay, Lyon."
