Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. DAHOMEY - L'Ouvroir de Cotonou. ("The sewing room of Cotonou.") In a courtyard, at least thrity-five girls sit on benches or on the ground and work on sewing projects. Three of the girls are learing how to use a sewing machine. Three missionary sisters supervise and instruct the girls. Postcard issued by the "Congregation des Soeurs de N.-D. des Apotres - Venissieux (Rhone)." The back of the postcard is blank.
