DAHOMEY - Un jour d'ordination a Ouidah. - Au milieu a droite le 2e pretre Dahomeen entoure des trois premiers pretres du Benin, tous les quatre ordonnes en aout 1929. Au dernier plan deux vicaires apostoliques. ("A day of ordination in Ouidah. In the middle on the right is the 2nd Dahomeen priest surrounded by the first three priests of Benin, all four ordained in August 1929. On the last level are two apostolic vicars.") Four newly ordained indigenous priests pose with two younger indigenous boys standing on either side of them holding books. Behind them stand six missionary fathers in white and two vicars.
The back of the postcard has a handwritten note in French.
