Description
1 -- Mission d'HARAR (Abyssinie). -- LEPROSERIE -- Installation. In front of a large stone wall twenty-one leprous men and women are gathered between two thatched-roof houses. Three missionary sisters are attending to the men and women, cleaning and bandaging their sores. Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. The back of the postcard is blank and contains printed information about the publisher: "Congregation des Soeurs Franciscaines de Calais -- Maison-Mere: Rue Eustache-de-St-Pierre, Calais (P.-de-C.)."
