Description
A European missionary father poses with four indigenous Gabonese priests. The Gabonese priests wear white robes and white stoles and hold black hats in their hands. Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. The back of the postcard is blank and contains a printed title: "23 - LOAGNO - Mgr Friteau, Vicaire apostolique et quatre de ses pretres indigenes ordonnes en 1924." ("Mgr Friteau, apostolic Vicar and four of his indigenous priests ordained in 1924.") Postcared issued by the "Missions des Peres du Saint-Esprit - 30, rue Lhomond, Paris (Ve arr.)"
