In the foreground a few men and women stand around a thin wooden flagpole bearing a flag with a white diagonal stripe. In the distance a large mountain range is visible.
The back of the postcard has a handwritten note in French and contains printed information about the publisher: "Societe des Missions Evangeliques - 102, Bld Arago (Paris)." The back also contains information about the printer: ""BRAUN & Cie, Imp. Mulhouse-Dornach."
