A European sister instructs an indigenous girl how to use a sewing machine; an indigenous sister instructs another girl how to sew by hand. Behind them twenty-nine other girls practice sewing on pieces of white cloth. Postcard issued by the "Congregation de Saint Joseph de Cluny, 21, rue Mechain, Paris."
