Description
22. Foire au Coton d'Ouagadougou. ("22. Cotton market of Ouagadougou.") Over one hundred indigenous men, women, and children sit on the ground near a stone wall. On the other side of the wall bundles of cotton and sticks have been stacked into a large pile. Postcard issued by "Mission d'Ouagadougou (Hte-Volta)." Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. The back of the postcard has a handwritten note in French and is printed with the following: "Collection de la Mission d'Ouagadougou."
