Description
A missionary sister stands with eleven indigenous girls who are weaving mats out of palm leaves. Behind them stands a long brick building. Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. The back of the postcard is blank and contains a printed title: "Missies der PP. v. d. H. Geest - Missions des PP. du St. Esprit. -- Het bewerken van de raphia te Lubunda - Travail du raphia a Lubunda." ("Mission of Fathers of the Holy Spirit. -- Working with raffia at Lubunda.") The back also contains information about the printer: "Missiehuis H. Geest, Lier."
