Description
A missionary sister and three indigenous adults pose while in the process of making butter with several metal canisters and containers. Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. The back of the postcard is blank and contains a printed title: "Missien der Zusters van Berlaar. - Missions des Soeurs de Berlaer. - Wadsa (Congo) - Geen ossenboter, hoor! - Oh! le bon beurre!" ("Mission of the Sisters of Berlaer. - Wadsa (Congo) - Oh! good butter!") The back also contains information about the printer: "Ern. Thill, Bruxelles."
