The back of the postcard has a handwritten note in French and contains a printed title: "7. Villa Maria - Negermeisjes met Witte Zusters. Negresses avec Soeurs Blanches." (7. Villa Maria. - Black women with White Sisters.") The back also contains information about the publisher: "Postulaathuizen der Zusters Missionarissen van O.L.V. van Afrika. - (Witte Zusters) Herent (Br.) - Thielt (W.V.)."
