("The Brother Coadjuteur Blaise Marmoiton was killed in 1847. Twice chased away, the Fathers returned.") The postcard shows an artistic representation of a martyred missionary father lying on the ground and two indigenous children praying for him. The postcard was issued by the "Missions Maristes de Nouvelle-Caledonie," a Catholic missions agency. The back of the postcard is blank and contains printed information from the publisher: "Sous-Procure des Missions - 6, Rue de Bagneux, Paris-VIe."
