Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. The postcard was issued by the "Missions Maristes de Nouvelle-Caledonie," a Catholic missions agency. The back of the postcard is blank and contains printed information from the publisher: "Sous-Procure des Missions - 6, Rue de Bagneux, Paris-VIe." Une Eglise se dresse aujourd'hui a cet emplacement (Balade). ("A Church stands today at this site (Balade).") A missionary father and a number of other adults stand in front of a stone church on the top of a hill. Ten indigenous children and a man on horseback congregate on the tree-lined road leading to the church.
