Description
(Visale). La premiere eglise en pierre aux Iles Salomon. ("(Visale). The first church made of stone in the Solomon Islands.") The photograph shows a stone church with four windows and an entrance on one side, as well as a circular window and another entrance on the end. Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. Postcard issued by "Missions des Peres Maristes en Oceanie," a Catholic missionaory order. The back of the postcard is blank and contains printed information from the publisher: "Sous-Procure des Missions - 6, rue de Bagneux, Paris-VIe."
