Also included in the International Mission Photography Archive. Guard, Magistrate, Mr. Pearson, (Salt Gabelle), Gen. Bei Bao San, other officers, water carrier in background by river. The men are gathered for the occasion of opening a culvert bridge built by General Bei Bao San. Lorenzo and Ruth Bennett Morgan were American medical missionaries in the Jiangsu and Anhui provinces of China, serving under the Presbyterian and Methodist mission boards from 1905 to 1946.
