A fandango dance at Minorca [graphic]

In the center a couple in traditional dress dance the fandango holding castanets and accompanied by two men with guitars (right), one standing, the other seated. An elderly woman sleeps in the chair behind the dancers. Four other women sit on chairs along the wall and watch the dancers; the young men stand and watch the dancers, some smoking pipes or holding walking sticks.
