Captioned watercolor and pen and ink drawings of scenery and fellow visitors in Yellowstone National Park. A small watercolor and a quote regarding Yellowstone by Rudyard Kipling appear on the first page. The illustrated cover and nine drawings are bound together with ribbon. Accompanied by four photographs of Walter Reagles in separate folder.

Purchased from Margolis & Moss on the Frederick W. & Carrie S. Beinecke Fund for Western Americana, 1992.
Son of James Reagles, a member of the Snake River Division of the United States Geological Survey of the Territories in the 1870s. In 1904, Walter accompanied his father on a return trip to Yellowstone and documented his visit with watercolor and pen and ink drawings. He later became a professional illustrator and was a member of the Art Directors Club of New York.
