The eight ancient Welsh chairs line the wall at right; four stands line the opposite wall at left, which is punctuated with arched openings to the outside. Plant boxes, trees, and the lawn are visible through the arched openings. One of the two blue and white china flower pots is visible in an alcove at the far end of the room, and the side of the antique marble vase with Greek inscription can be seen in an alcove in the wall on the right.
