On the floor between the table and the front Opposition bench a large cask, resting on trestles, is exploding violently from the bung-hole. The inscription on the cask forms the only title to the print. In the explosion are the words: 'Reform', 'Peace', 'Liberty', 'Equality', 'no Slave Trade', 'Peace'. Part only of the Speaker's hat and wig are visible; his left hand is extended and the words 'Order Order' issue from his (invisible) mouth.
