“58. Afrique (Madagascar) ̶ Dentellières chez les filles de la Charité de St. Vincent de Paul à Fort Dauphin.” Young women are shown outside at the mission making lace. A missionary sister works on her lace pattern while a teacher oversees the class. The following information is printed on the back of the postcard: “L’Œuvre de la Propagation de la Foi soutient les Missions Catholiques du monde entier. Envoyer votre offrande par Chèques Postaux Paris 618.25 – Lyon 72.71. Propagation de la Foi Paris – 5, rue Monsieur (VIIe) – Lyon – 12, rue Sala.” Handwriting in French covers the back.
