Description
“3 ̶ Madagascar (Côte Est) Pilonnage du Riz.” Women and children are depicted pounding rice in a stone mortar. They use large wooden poles to smash the grain. The caption and following information are printed on the back of the postcard: Missionnaires Montifortains, Diocèse de Tamatave – Madagascar. Editions ‘Gaby’, Marque Déposée. There is no handwriting on the back of the postcard.
