Description: “17. Mission des Religieuses Ursulines de Thildonck au Bengale. Femmes s’approvisionnant d’eau. Vrouwen die hum voorrazad water putten. A number of women and several children are shown at a local water well. A cement platform is seen around the shaft and a well pole or sweep is employed to lower and raise the buckets. Women transport the water in earthen vessels balanced on their heads. The caption is printed on the back of the postcard. There is no handwriting on the back.
