Burndy Library Dibner, Bern, b. 1897 Yale School of Medicine
A red sun-like shape with a dial at the center and a fleur-de-lis on top is at the top center of this bookplate. A three-lined red square border surrounds this and the text beneath. This library was founded by Bern Dibner in 1941 and contains books on the History of Science. After Dibner's death in 1988, the collection was divided between the Smithsonian, MIT, and the Huntington.
