Watermarks: similar to Briquet Echelle 5904, 5908 and Harlfinger Fleche 12.
Script: Written by a single scribe in humanistic script. Marginal notes and corrections in several hands.
Plain decorative initials with vine work designs, outlined in ink but not painted, mark the beginning of satires. Initial of each verse stroked with red (much faded). Spaces left for headings.
Binding: 19th-20th centuries. Vellum non-adhesive binding. - Provenance
