Four of the postcards were mailed. Orial Taylor wrote to Mr. and Mrs. Hastings, Detroit, Michigan, card postmarked 1937; Mr. and Mrs. C. Higgins wrote to Ruth Johnson, Lima, Ohio, card postmarked 1927; Alta Stephenson wrote to Velma Reece, Cleveland, Ohio, card postmarked 1954; Mrs. Venlet wrote to Joyce and Ruth Johnson, Grand Rapids, Michigan, card postmarked 1948. Alta Stephenson identified herself as the sender of her postcard with an address label.
