- 3 p. ; 25 x 20 cm. In Johann August Friedrich John's handwriting. Concerning Goethe's work on the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci which Noehden translated into English. Mounted at end of letter a pen and ink drawing representing a medal showing Karl August's head in profile on the obverse and Leonardo da Vinci's and Bossi's on the reverse. Printed in Weimar Ausgabe.
