Print shows Taylor supine on his death bed, eyes closed. He is surrounded by three women kneeling and greiving, and seven men standing. They include Mrs. Taylor, in a white cap, weeping, her head and arms resting on Taylor; Mrs. Bliss, across from her, also weeping. An unidentified young woman to the left of Mrs. Taylor; the men are: the Reverend Mr. Pyne; Jacob Collamer; Millard Fillmore; John Clayton; George Crawford; and two other members of his cabinet.
