Images of wildlife include herds of caribou and reindeer in Alaska and Siberia, rookeries of seals, which include men clubbing seals; and a dead walrus aboard a ship
Incidental images of other locations consist of views of California showing Point Reyes and the vicinity of Point Arena; views of Port Townsend, Washington; views of Fort Simpson, Northwest Territory; and a view of the Strait of Juan de Fuca between Canada and the United States
