Images of Piegan Indians sites and activities include a Sun Lodge, which includes an image of a Brave Dogs Society (Kana'tsomitaiksi) ceremony, as well as a sweat lodge depicted uncovered and covered, groups of Grass Dancers, and burial sites on the surface and in a tree.

Discrete informal group portraits depict Piegan Indians and European Americans during a cattle roundup on the Blackfeet Agency during the summer 1898. Other images of European Americans include a group of three men outside a cabin and men in a pack train.

Identified Piegan Indians include Blood and his wife, Calf Shirt with a snake, Nitana and two children, and Nose Cut Already Off (Ikaika Chakarie).
