Title: [Commonplace book], [17th century].
Abstract: Manuscript, in multiple hands, containing notes on theology, heraldry, and Latin texts. Items include excerpts from Livy; Annotationes in sacra theologia; De ecclesie; rules for blazoning and other notes on arms; sermon notes; and a dialogue on lending money titled For free lending. Also contained in the manuscript are several legal documents; accounts dated 1643 and 1644; and travel notes from a sea journey along the Persian shore, with descriptions of the towns of Congo and Madras
