Collection includes 1) Draft of a speech concerning the murder of Sir Edmund Berry Godfrey and the Popish Plot, 1678; 2) draft of a speech concerning the marriage of Anne Hyde and the Duke of York, ca. 1660: 3) draft of a speech on a proposal that members of Parliament appointed to government office should lose their seats in the House; and memoranda concerning privileges of Parliament, judicial procedure in treason trials, and a legal affair concerning a ward of Sir Robert Viner.
