Copied in A.H. 690 (A.D. 1291).

Incipit: "Bismillāh al-Raḥmān al-Raḥīm. al-Ḥamdu lillāh Rabb al-ʻĀlamīn. Wa-ṣallá Allāh ʻalá Khayr al-Nabīyīn, Muḥammad wa-ālihi wa-aṣḥābihi ajmaʻīn. Qāla al-Qāḍī al-ajall al-Imām Abū Shujāʻ Aḥmad ibn al-Ḥusayn ibn Aḥmad ibn Muḥammad aḥsan Allāh tawfīqahu: Saʼalanī baʻḍ al-aṣdiqāʼ, ḥafiẓahum Allāh, an aʻmala mukhtaṣaran fī al-fiqh ʻalá madhhab al-Shāfiʻī, raḍiya Allāh ʻanhu, fī ghāyat al-ikhtiṣār wa-nihāyat al-ījāz, yaqrubu ʻalá al-ʻālim darsahu, wa-yashulu ʻalá al-mubtadī ḥifẓuhu ..."
On folio 31b: A statement dating the birth of a child named Yaḥyá, the night of Saturday, 5 Rabīʻ al-Awwal, of the year 676 of the Hijrah (13 August 1277), as follows: "Wulid al-walad al-aʻazz al-afḍal khalaf al-quḍāh wa-al-afāḍil wa-al-aʼimmah wa-al-ʻulamāʼ, Jalāl al-Millah wa-al-Dīn, Yaḥyá, abqāhu Allāh taʻālá, waqt nawmat al-nās, laylat al-Sabt, ṣabāḥuhā, al-khāmis min shahr Rabīʻ al-Awwal, sant sitt wa-sabʻīn wa-sittimiʼah."
Script: Calligraphic naskhī, in red and black.
Binding: In brown leather, Type III (without flap); cover deteriorated.
Decoration: Rubrication.
Foliated on every fifth leaf in modern pencil.
Colophon: "Tamm bi-ḥamd Allāh wa-ḥusn tawfīqihi fī al-thāmin ʻashar min Rajab, sanat tisʻīn wa-sittimiʼah [24 July 1291], bi-yad Sulaymān ibn Maḥmūd ibn Abī al-Fatḥ, ḥāmidan lillāh wa-muṣallīyan ʻalá Nabīyihi."
