Description: Puck (42:1072), page 8-9, center of complete issue. By Dalrymple, shows a harried Uncle Sam in a hammock is swatting off the plague of new diploma-bearing graduates, portrayed as insects, from medical college, law school, and theological institute. One doctor carries a huge syringe, like a stinger. Front cover by Keppler is about Reed, Dingley Tariff, and the Railroad Lobby (looking like Simon Legree). Back by F. Opper (II?) has six scenes of henpecked husbands through the ages. Hansen database #693.
