- London Graphic (27:685), page 37, in complete issue. Two sketches, text on page 34. Taking lymph from the calf and Vaccinating infants. This is Fig. 1, inset in upper left corner of Fig. 2 (upper sketch). Fig. 1 shows the peculiar pattern of punctures so that there will remain evidence that this was lymph from the calf, rather than humanized lymph. Brief text also notes the lack of any suffering on the animal's part, saying it often sleeps during the procedure. Hansen database #1918.
