Abstract: Manuscript, in a single hand, of a letter from Wilkie asking Lady Holland to accept his gift of "two small and imperfect sketches, made from recollection, on my way back from Falmouth, of the two Portraits by Vandyke, of the Earl of Warwick and the Earl of Holland." He explains that the portraits will interest Lady Holland for "having been painted in Holland House." The letter is accompanied by the two watercolor sketches mentioned in the letter, which are signed and dated 1834
