Incipit: "Bismillāh al-Raḥmān al-Raḥīm. Allāhumma ātinā min ladunika raḥmatan, wa-hayyiʼ lanā min amrinā rashadan, wa-ṣallá Allāhu ʻalá Sayyidinā Muḥammad wa-sallam. al-Ḥamdu lillāh alladhī sharaḥa ṣudūra ahl al-Islām bi-al-Sunnah fa-inqādat li-ittibāʻihā wa-irtāḥat li-samāʻihā, wa-amāt nufūs ulī al-ṭughyān bi-al-bidʻah baʻda an tamādat fī nizāʻihā wa-taghālat fī ibtidāʻihā ..."
Copied in A.H. 852 (A.D. 1448).
Script: Hasty naskhī.
Binding: In decorated colored cardboard, Type II (with flap); red leather on spine and the edges.
Several leaves wanting, and supplied by a later hand.
On folio 316a (in the author's hand): "al-Ḥamdu lillāh wa-salāmun ʻalá ʻibādihi alladhīna iṣṭafá. Ammā baʻd, fa-qad samiʻa ʻalayya ṣāḥibuhu al-Shaykh Shams al-Dīn al-Ḥalabī mā uʻallimuhu la-hu fī al-hawāmish ... ... (?) fī hādhihi al-nuskhah wa-al-majlis al-akhīr minhu bi-qirāʼat al-Shaykh Burhān al-Dīn al-Biqāʻī, laylat al-Aḥad, al-tāsiʻ wa-al-ʻishrīn, min shahr Rabīʻ al-Awwal, sanat ithnayn wa-khamsīn wa-thamānimiʼah [11 June 1448], wa-ajaztu la-hu an yarwiyahu ʻalá mā tajūzu ʻannī riwāyatuhu wa-al-salām (?).
