Binding: red morocco, gilt, with Aldine anchor on sides; bound in the style of Roger Payne (pencilled note on fly-leaf "bound by Roger Payne," but paper that fills out latter half of the volume is watermarked "J WHATMAN - W. BALSTON 1813," so the binding cannot be before that date and confirms England as the place the binding was made, probably approximately 1820).
