Description
View of Ranelagh Pleasure Gardens, the large central rotunda with a classical portico, an octagonal fountain to the foreground, trees on either side and beyond, the Duke of York's Headquarters beyond, elegant figures strolling in the grounds. Sheet trimmed within plate mark with loss of all text including the imprint. See LR. 282.b.7.for a later impression, published by John Ryall in 1764. Matted to: 38 x 57 cm.
